Thanking him for his kind words about Ropartz in the journal, saying he is occupied from morning to night with rehearsals, correcting proofs, etc., noting the première the previous Saturday of his Fantaisie brève for string quartet on the name of Albéric Magnard, adding that Le petit enfant, by Tiercelin, for which Ropartz wrote the music, will appear in the Figaro musical, and counting on the recipient's presence at the première of Pêcheur [d'Islande].
